This section will give you more information on each of the talents in each of the three trees, and which builds in particular they help promote. The following sections is dedicated to listing and explaining three of the best builds for Leveling, Raiding in PvE Dungeons, and PvP encounters. It should be noted that many Priest talents in each of the three trees have their own strengths, and many players often find their own preferred builds that may not be exactly the same, so feel free to experiment or change these suggested builds to use the talents you feel resonate with you the most.
The primary focus of the build, however, is on the powerful talents in the Shadow tree. Priests are valuable members of any raiding team.Faxstation login
With potent, flexible healing and many tools for dealing damage and CC, Priests have something to offer in any situation. Most Priests will be asked to specialize in healing, but groups with Warlocks in them will always want to bring at least one Shadow Priest along for Shadow Weaving. Whether Discipline or Holy, healing Priests have been the most sought after healers in all of World of Warcraft Classic. With a wide variety of healing and defensive spells, and an unprecedented two healing specializations, Priests excel in healing in a way no other class in WoW Classic does.
Those Priests who choose to focus on healing will find an open slot in virtually every party they come across. Shadow Priests bring great utility to raid parties, especially if those parties contain other Shadow Priests or Warlocks. Shadow Weaving is a powerful buff to the raid's Shadow damage and, if no healing Priests are present, Power Word: Fortitude will make things easier for the healers in the group.
Priests are valuable members of any PVP team. Shadow Priests in PVP fill largely the same role as Warlocks, with one big difference: Shadow Priests can flex into healing at the drop of a hat, making them incredibly valuable to have on your team.
Whether healing or dealing damage, a skilled PVP Priest is a sight to behold. This build focuses on giving the healing Priest the best bang for their buck in both defensive and utilitarian spheres. It's all about making your spells efficient, effective, and fast. Shadow Priests who enjoy PVP will see another, much more sadistic side of the specialization.
With damaging abilities which also heal the Priest and their teammates, Silence to stymie other casters, Psychic Scream to make melee-range enemies flee in terror, and stuns added to their Shadow spells, Shadow Priests can be some of the deadliest foes in any Battleground or world PVP situation. When you are on a roll, few classes will be able to oppose you, and many who see you coming may simply run away instead of deal with the devastation you bring.

Classic WoW Priest Talents Overview [ edit ] This section will give you more information on each of the talents in each of the three trees, and which builds in particular they help promote. Silent Resolve Raiding Healing Priests won't need this spell unless they are looking for filler, but Shadow Priests should always take this to reduce their threat generation.
Improved Power Word: Shield Leveling, Raiding This is a great talent for leveling Priests, and raiding Priests who are primarily focused on healing, but raiding Shadow Priests can save their points for other talents. You'll always be grateful when it procs but, depending on what you are doing, it may not proc often enough in PVE encounters to justify the points spent.
Since mana is everything for casters, this should always be on your radar. Meditation Leveling, Raiding, PVP Allowing your mana to regenerate while casting is incredibly powerful, so you should always pick up at least a few ranks of this, and max it out if you can.
Mental Agility Raiding This talent gets the most use from healing Priests in raids. Mana efficiency is paramount for all Priests, but only healing priests spend enough time casting instant spells to really justify this. If that's your idea of a good time, pick this up. Otherwise, spend those precious points elsewhere.Forgot your password? On this page, you will learn how to optimize the rotation of your Priest Healer Healer, depending on the type of damage your group is receiving while doing PvE content in WoW Classic.
We also have advanced sections about cooldowns, procs, etc.
Formula: Enchant Weapon - Healing Power - Item
If you have not already, please read the spells summary page. Knowing how each spell and ability works in detail will greatly increase your understanding of the topics discussed on this page. As a healer, you do not have a set in stone rotation; rather, you have to properly use each spell to your disposal depending on what the situation demands of you. Especially in WoW Classic, your role as a healer is not just to maximize your healing throughput and to focus on being first on the healing meters.
It is possible, or even likely, that you will be assigned a certain aspect to primarily focus on as a healer, if you are in a raid. Luckily, you are very versatile to fill in whatever role your raid needs you to do as a Healer Priestas you have powerful tools to deal with both single-target oriented healing, or group-oriented healing.
This is how you would generally want to use your relevant healing spells in a PvE setting, assuming you are specced according to our Talents page:. Depending on the talents that you take, you can have access to up to 2 cooldowns as a Healer Priest: Power Infusion and Inner Focus. Inner Focus is always assumed to be taken, but Power Infusion especially in the early stages of WoW Classic is a bit more niche. Power Infusion should be treated as a DPS cooldown first and foremost.
This makes it powerful to use on, for example, a Magebecause they can stack their own cooldowns with Power Infusion. Try and coordinate your usage of Power Infusion with whomever you think is best to receive it, in order to get the most out of it. Inner Focus making your next spell completely free, meaning it is best to use whenever you want to use a max rank healing spell - the fact that its chance to critically strike also gets significantly increased makes Inner Focus efficient both in terms of Mana conservation, as well as raw throughput.
It is usually best to use this in conjunction with a max rank Greater Heal or Prayer of Healingdepending on whether you need to do AoE healing or single-target healing. Downranking refers to using lower ranks of a spell, usually as a means to conserve Mana. Even though you do not cast a tremendous amount of unique spells during a fight, you will have to use different ranks of these spells.
If you do not, you will simply run out of Mana very quickly. Knowing when to use what spell rank for what situation will come with experience and is a crucial part of learning to optimize your skills as a healer. In theory.
I bet there is a cap somewhere. As an Enh I am either aiming at a Whale or Wolf equipment or something similar. No idea what works best for Enh in Classic. My horde main in retail is Enh but I was Ele back in the day, never tried healing in either spec.
Healing pallys dont need to worry so much about spirit and regen as we are generally more mana efficient. At least with certain talents anyway. So some pieces are maybe as good for healing as they are solo PVE. Whilst leveling just stick with pure stats.
If healing go for owl gear.
I healed with eagle and owl gear and owl is noticeably better in terms of sustained mana regen and healing. Get an add on that tracks the 5 second rule for mana regen and try and get as many ticks in between heals as possible.

I healed uldaman on my Druid without having to sit and drink at all. Almost free healing. And the 2 hander has 12 Spirit too which gives a noticeable better regen.Ravi belagere

Healers are considered a support class and the tiers can get complicated when you try to factor in things like raid utility, buffs, and healing output all combined.
Luckily for healers, the classes are surprisingly balanced; for anyone considering playing a healer, rest assured that you will have a raid spot regardless of class and spec. Look below for the complete tier list for the differences between healers to see what makes them worth their raid spots. Below is a quick summary of the full rankings that we have detailed on this page. While this gives a good outline of the standings of specializations in comparison to one another, we recommend reading the full rankings to understand why certain specializations are ranked as they are.
Out of all the different tier lists between DPS, Tanks, and Healers, the Healing tier list is by far the closest between the tiers. Specifically, it is almost disingenuous to put Shamans and Paladins in a tier below Priests when they bring some of the best buffs in the game and are critical to every raid composition. However, in terms of pure healing output, Paladins and Shamans fall slightly below Priests.
Priests are the iconic healing class of WoW Classic. Not only do they have the best toolkit, but Priests have the highest healing output due to a combination of great scaling, strong talents, and high base healing.
The class was designed with healing in mind, which is why the majority of any raid's healing composition will be made of mostly Priests. Shamans are an excellent healing class with an incredible amount of Raid utility.Pg/roommates in bangalore
While Shamans do not do the healing output that Priests will do, they bring extremely powerful totems to buff their party that make them a necessary support class. Even still, Chain Heal is extremely potent for multi-target healing and, even for just healing throughput, keeps Shamans solidly in the A tier. For overall raid usefulness however, Shamans are an absolutely necessity in every raid, and would be considered S-tier along with Priests and Paladins.
Paladins fall into the exact same category as Shamans. They will not do as much healing output as Priests, but bring extremely powerful raid buffs that are required for any raid. For healing output, Paladins can only do single-target healing using their three healing spells, but have the advantage of their talent Illumination. This talent causes Paladins to get Mana back on healing crits, which makes them the most Mana-efficient healer in the game. Once you start getting some raid gear as a Paladin, you will quickly stop ever needing to worry about Mana usage.
This incredible Mana efficiency and high single-target healing puts Paladins into the A-tier. However, just like Shamans, if you were to categorize healers by raid usefulness, Paladins would absolutely be considered S-tier along with Shamans and Priests, due to the amazing buffs that they bring.
Druids have the lowest healing output out of all the healers. Most healing done needs to be quick, and raids will rarely sit low for lengths of time, making Rejuvenation and other Druids' HoTs not as effective as stronger direct heals, which lowers Druid's healing potential.
However, Druids do bring some important raid utility, such as InnervateRebirthand Mark of the Wild. While their healing might not be as high as a Priest's, you can still expect to see Resto Druids in most raids due to their strong utility and different healing toolkit, which can prove useful in some situations. Welcome to our Macros guide for Paladins where you will find out what the best macros are for your Paladin in WoW Classic. While it is possible to play perfectly with the default UI, there are many critical things missing that will make your life more difficult.
This is where addons can be extremely useful. There are a vast number of addons, including more comprehensive UI packages, but below we have listed some of the basic addons that are highly recommended, both for Paladins and for general use.
As a Paladin specifically, most players will be healing during raids. The default unit frames are generally considered to be lacking to properly heal on both due to their placement and limited customization options. Getting a unit frame replacement addon such as ElvUI or one of the other options below is worth considering.
Being able to customize your raid frames to show dispellable debuffs, show active heals on players, or even just to better show current damage intake are all areas that the default interface lacks in, but addons can make up for. We recommend always using the following addons on your character, as they either bring very useful functionalities which cannot be easily passed on or represent significant quality of life increases for your WoW Classic life. Pally Power is an incredibly useful addon that tracks and manages the various Paladin buffs to ensure that everyone gets all of the various buffs in a raid setting with multiple Paladins, as it can be quite complicated to manage on your own sometimes.
ElvUI Classicjust like its retail counterpart, allows you to replace most elements of the default UI with a customizable, modern set of action bars, unit frames and most other conveniences you can think of. By using ElvUI you can avoid using a lot of other, narrower, addons. Annoyed by the slow scrolling quest text?

Information of this seems sparse. I'm looking at fine details, not just matter-of-fact. I believe these are based on cast times for the maximum effect Up to 40 damage is 1d40 damage?
Cast time matters. An instant cast, as a wand, cannot expect those rewards. Healing wands are very sought after. It's probably simple, yet elusive to me. Last edited by Vineri; at AM. Hunter Warlock Druid Shaman. The latter one can only appear on items that generate random properties. Predefined items always use the "up to" green text, like Azuresong Mageblade for example. Regarding their effect it's based on cast time, i believe 3.
Different spells have different ratios, on normal 3.Forgot your password? We first present the stat priority, before delving into more complex explanations.
Healing Power increases the strength of your healing spells by a flat amount. How to heal Molten Core as a Holy Paladin - Classic WoW Raid Guide
This is your primary stat that you should stack and will actually help your Mana efficiency more than you might realize. Down-ranking healing spells is an important part of healing, and healing power increases the power of any heal, regardless of rank, by the same flat amount. This means that the percent change between a lower rank and a max rank of the same healing spell decreases as you gain more healing power.
This is why Restoration Druids often use Ranks 3 and 4 of Healing Touch for the lower cast time and better Mana efficiency instead of a max rank. Mp5 stands for Mana per 5 seconds, which is a common secondary stat found on healing gear. This is simply the best and most efficient stat for getting more Mana during a fight and should be taken when possible. Each point of Intellect gives 15 max Mana and a small increase to your spell crit chance.
Having a larger Mana pool means more spell casts during an encounter, and the crit chance is also quite nice for Restoration. Intellect is your most important primary stat and should be taken on almost every piece of gear. Spirit increases your out of combat health and Mana regeneration.
Mana regeneration is incredibly important since on most fights, but Mp5 is a much better stat for Mana regeneration.
Ozgar's Downranking Guide & Tool
Spirit is simply less efficient, making it a lower priority. This is normally not a valuable stat for healers, as it only increases your healing throughput, but at a much less efficient and reliable rate than Healing Power. However, if you are playing either build with Nature's GraceSpell Crit is much more valuable. With a Nature's Grace build, Spell Crit becomes one of your best stats, rising to about equal to Intellect. Each point of Stamina gives 10 max health points.
Having a health pool high enough to not die to raid mechanics is important, but you should naturally acquire this from gear without needing to worry about it. This guide has been written by Impakt.
